The court denied Shufrych the ability to physically attend parliamentary sessions but mandated that he be allowed to exercise his parliamentary duties while in custody, as stated in the document.
The decision has been forwarded to the Verkhovna Rada and is not subject to appeal.
Commenting on the verdict, Goncharenko noted that according to the Rada's regulations, a member of parliament can only vote in the session hall.
"This means Shufrych will not be able to vote. However, theoretically, he could participate online, for instance, in committee meetings. Or he could submit bills and resolutions through his assistants," the MP speculated.
