"The change in leadership at the Ministry of Energy, resulting from the resignation of the minister, along with the reshuffling of deputies and department heads, may lead to instability in the energy sector. This, in turn, will impact the reliability of electricity and heat supply," he wrote.
The expert stated that building relationships between the ministry, state enterprises, and private market players is a lengthy process, and it is uncertain whether the new leadership at the Ministry of Energy will be able to quickly establish these connections.
Havryletsko noted that the uncertainty surrounding the ministry's leadership could hinder the implementation of international projects for an extended period.
"Currently, as Ukraine is counting on further tranches from international financial institutions, part of which is intended to enhance the viability of the energy sector, such uncertainty will certainly work against the interests of our country and its energy security," he emphasized.
