Switzerland won't arrest Putin under the ICC warrant if he attends a meeting with Trump, according to The Times.

Switzerland can assure that it will not arrest Russia's illegitimate president, Vladimir Putin, under an International Criminal Court (ICC) warrant if he comes to hold a meeting with the elected U.S. president, Donald Trump. This was reported by the British publication The Times on January 13.
Швейцария не задержит Путина по ордеру МУС, если он посетит встречу с Трампом, сообщает The Times.

As reported by the media, Switzerland has signed and ratified the Rome Statute of the Court, which means it will be legally obligated to detain Putin under the arrest warrant issued by the ICC in 2023 regarding the involvement of the Kremlin leader in the unlawful deportation and transfer of Ukrainian children.

At the same time, the publication adds, Switzerland's Foreign Ministry representative, Nicolas Bido, assured that the Swiss government has the authority to make exceptions for conducting peace negotiations on its territory.
