"In the event of a peace agreement, we will strengthen Ukraine's own defense capabilities to prevent future encroachments on its borders. We will send a contingent to Ukraine to ensure the implementation of this agreement. We cannot wait, neglecting the opportunity to help. We will immediately enhance our assistance," he stated.
Starmer emphasized that the success of these efforts relies on support from the United States. He also mentioned that he is already collaborating with U.S. President Donald Trump.
"Right now, we need to work together. In the end, we agreed that we will meet very soon with the American president to collaborate until we have a common plan. This is not a moment for mere rhetoric; it is a time to unite for a lasting and just peace," he said.
