An agreement regarding Greenland can be reached, says the future Vice President of the United States.

JD Vance, the future vice president in the administration of elected U.S. President Donald Trump, stated that the United States does not need to resort to military force in Greenland. He also mentioned that an agreement could potentially be reached regarding the island. He made these comments during an interview with Fox News, which was published on January 12.
Можно достичь соглашения по Гренландии, заявил будущий вице-президент США.

Vance reminded that the U.S. already has a military presence on the island.

According to the future vice president, during a recent visit by Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr., the local residents expressed a desire to "have the right to develop their own resources." Media reports suggest that Trump Jr. bribed homeless individuals for a publicity campaign during his visit to Greenland. The Republican believes that the Danish authorities have not done enough to ensure the region's safety.

He noted that this is a "great opportunity" for the U.S. to "take the initiative in securing Greenland and exploiting its natural resources."

Vance also added that Trump is best at making deals.
