An expert stated that an arrest has been placed on the assets of Poroshenko's son.

The assets of Oleksiy Poroshenko, former member of parliament and son of Ukraine's fifth president, Petro Poroshenko, have been seized due to the failure to pay a fine of 25,500 UAH for ignoring summonses from the Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support (TCRSS). This information was shared on Facebook by political expert Valentyn Hladkykh.
Эксперт сообщил о наложении ареста на имущество сына Порошенко.

"The son of his mother's friend, or more precisely, the privileged heir of his father's empire, Alexey Poroshenko, was so eager to defend the country that he fled from the war all the way to Great Britain, where he still remains in hiding. All this time, while the 'warrior' Poroshenko was sitting in the trenches of the London boiler, he received summonses to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Naturally, he ignored them. As a result, on January 8, the Pechersk District Military Commissariat in Kyiv fined him 25,500 UAH. The ruling clearly stated that if he did not pay within 15 days, the fine would double. And that’s exactly what happened. Because the 'draft-dodging' billionaire disregarded the legal requirements. Thus, on January 28, 2025, the state enforcement service of the Pechersk district in the capital decided to forcibly recover from Alexey Petrovich Poroshenko the administrative fine in the amount of 51,000 UAH in favor of the state. Until he pays, an arrest will be placed on all the debtor's property," wrote Gladkykh, providing a copy of the ruling from the State Enforcement Service of Ukraine.

Considering the enforcement fee and other expenses, the total amount of the fine exceeds 56,000 UAH.

"The precedent itself is important – one of the richest people in the country (specifically, Alexey Poroshenko is recorded with a fortune of nearly $1.2 billion) is being compelled by the state to comply with the law. And he is punished for evading military service while the entire country defends itself against the enemy. Therefore, the consequences for the draft dodger will worsen over time," noted the expert.

Gladkykh emphasized that despite his father's statements, Alexey, the son of Petro Poroshenko, has been avoiding military service for a long time.

"In 2015, Petro Alekseevich claimed that his older son fought near Ilovaisk. At that time, journalists and military personnel called it a lie. So, in fact, Alexey has been hiding from the Armed Forces of Ukraine for over 10 years. He turned out to be quite the 'soldier.' As they say: in London, the son enjoys his father's treats, but in Ukraine, he is a draft dodger. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree... Or as they say in such cases?" – concluded Gladkykh.
