Influencers and TikTok bloggers will be allowed to attend Trump's briefings.

Podcast hosts, influencers, and TikTok creators will be able to submit accreditation requests to cover events related to U.S. President Donald Trump and his administration. This initiative comes in response to the alleged distrust of traditional media among the American public. This announcement was made on January 28 by White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre during her inaugural briefing, which was published on the White House's YouTube channel.
На брифингах Трампа смогут присутствовать инфлюенсеры и блогеры из TikTok.

According to her, during his campaign, Trump utilized a "revolutionary media approach," which the White House will continue to follow.

"Trump's White House will engage with all media outlets and personalities, not just representatives of traditional media who are present in this room, because, according to a recent Gallup poll, trust in the media among Americans has fallen to a record low," Livitt stated.

She noted that millions of young Americans have turned away from traditional news on television and in newspapers in favor of podcasts, blogs, social media, and "other independent channels," and the president's team aims to disseminate Trump's messages everywhere.

The Times reports that Trump enlisted podcasters and comedians in his campaign, successfully capturing the attention of a young male audience. According to the publication, a significant portion of men under 30 voted for the Republican.

Livitt also claimed that many traditional media outlets in the U.S. allegedly spread falsehoods about Trump and his family and "they will not allow that to happen again."
