The official stated that Russia aims to damage Ukraine's energy system and leave Ukrainians "in the cold and darkness," as reported by "Deutsche Welle".
"That is why we have mobilized additional funds again to help restore energy supply here," Schulze said. She also added that she "wants to personally ensure that the money goes where it is needed."
