Now, commanders of military units can purchase tactical drones and electronic warfare systems without unnecessary bureaucratic approvals from the General Staff and other military management bodies, Umerov reported.
Access to framework agreements will also be expanded, the minister explained. Military units can join agreements made by the procurement agencies of the Ministry of Defense and the State Special Communications, which will allow them to acquire equipment more quickly and at competitive prices.
"This decision signifies stability, systematization, and predictability for all participants in the process," Umerov stated.
The minister also noted that it ensures not only the prompt delivery of necessary technologies to the front but also supports Ukrainian manufacturers by providing them with opportunities for stable development and product improvement.
He assured that military personnel will now be able to plan their needs more effectively, while manufacturers can focus on technological advancement and scaling up production.
