According to the president, investing in Ukrainian drone production is not just an investment in Europe's security, but also in Europe's ability to serve as a guarantor of security for other vital regions.
"We need to start collaboratively developing air defense systems – ones that can truly handle all types of cruise and ballistic missiles. Europe requires its own 'Iron Dome' capable of countering any threats," emphasized Zelensky.
The head of state further added that European security cannot rely on the goodwill of individual capitals.
"We cannot depend on the goodwill of a few capitals when it comes to Europe's security: whether it be Washington, Berlin, Paris, London, Rome, or – after Putin's departure – some imaginary democrat in Moscow," said the president.
