The Biden administration has not yet spent nearly $4 billion of the approved aid for Ukraine, according to the Pentagon.

On January 10, Sabrina Singh, the Deputy Press Secretary of the U.S. Department of Defense, acknowledged that the outgoing White House administration would be unable to transfer all of the approved military assistance to Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression. The transcript of her briefing was published on the department's website.
Пентагон сообщил, что администрация Байдена не смогла использовать почти $4 миллиарда одобренной помощи Украине.

"There remains just under $4 billion that the next administration will have the opportunity to use for Ukraine," she stated.

She reminded that on January 9, the head of the Pentagon, Lloyd Austin announced a new package within the President's authority amounting to $500 million. The last time the U.S. announced military assistance to Ukraine was for nearly $2.5 billion on December 30.

In total, according to data from the Pentagon as of January 8, Ukraine has received over $66.5 billion for defense during Biden's term, including approximately $65.9 billion since the onset of Russia's full-scale invasion.
